Las Vegas

This is my cousin Israel and me playing together. Mommy and me went to Las Vegas to visit old friends and family. Check out the pictures of me with my Great Grandma and my mother's God Father.

So Sleepy

Aunt Kandis has the touch. She and her hubby Jaun came down from Seattle and made a stop at our house to be introduced to me. I got to take a long nap in Kandis's arms. Jaun did a great job holdoing me as well. Daddy picked out my dress for Thanksgiving Day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, we hope to see you soon!

What's going on out there?

I got to go wlaking around the zoo on a rare sunny day, ok Mommy did all the walking and I mostly slept. Before we left I did poke my head out to see the Tigers. My cousin Cailin in in thebackground, we were all toasty warm.

So Big!

I am naked with my shoes on! Mommy and Daddy are in big trouble when I can crawl...who needs a diaper anyway?

Fall

Me and my big friend Aubree at the park. Our mommies met for coffee and then went for a nice walk in the park with thier cool strollers on one of the few sunny days in Portland.

Mommy and me went to the doctor and we both had to get shots, good thing our bandaids
matched. We are both so tough! I weight 11 pounds now, milk is good.

I am two months old now and look at me! I can lift my head and do baby yoga, boat pose!!

Living with the Grandparents

Life is going well over here in Portland. I am enjoying the time with my Grandparents. I have been learning to use my voice more for cute cuddly sound then for crying. My parents really like it. You should check out the video of me on the dryer.

Glad to be home

Good day to all of my followers. Returning home from my trip to Portland was quit a relief. It was a good trip over all, but I was sure glad to be back to my normal routine. Life is now back to normal, or as normal as it could be. Thanks for checking in.

My first traveling experience

Tomorrow will be my first traveling experience. We are going to Portland for a week. I am not sure that I am ready for a 3 hour long car ride, but I am hoping to sleep through most of it. Besides the trip, my life is pretty predictable as you would assume. Eating, sleeping, and pooping, with some occasional awake time and some smiles in there to keep Mom and Dad happy. Tired?

Sorry to everyone about not posting much lately, I have been busy eating, sleeping and filling diapers, while dad is in the middle of oral surgery and Mom is trying to stay positive about my eating habits. Mom is doing great though! She loves Me more and more everyday! Good news....I am over 8 lbs now. Life is good. Thanks for checking in, I am also putting more pics on the web album.

Wedding

Saturday was Leila's first big outing. She ventured to Aj and Elizabeths wedding. She was carried around in our fancy ergo baby carrier, very cool. Grandpa Tom was very proud to be the only one to get to hold her in her pretty blue and white dress. Things went really well. She slept the entire time we were out. Life on the home front is good. Leila is feeding well, Scott is trying to keep up on all of his chores, and Megan is getting better every day.

Multitasking

Megan is already learning the art of multitasking as she is feeding the baby. She now was found time to read, schedule appointments, and pray during here hourly meeting with Leila. I think also that my daughter might be a worshipper. She consistently is raising her hands in worship, whether being awake or asleep. =)

Grandpa Kav's first Visit

Grandpa Kav came to town on Thursday to see his beautiful grand baby. It was a nice time, he made two great meals which will provide us with some left overs, and got some quality time with Leila. Leila is doing well, she is already sleeping 5 hours during the night which is awesome. Megan is getting better and better everyday. Yesterday I found Megan on her hands and knees scrubbing the floor. That girl is crazy. Today is our big day, we are going to venture outside with baby. We are going to go to a wedding here in town. It is rough though, I am having to type one handed while holding a sleeping baby. Could it get any better!

Where has all the sleep gone?

With another day behind us, things seem to be going better. Leila is getting more food, and finding more sleep time which is good for everyone. I must say that my Mom is amazing. She was the biggest blessing these last couple of day. I don't think that we would have made it or have been as well prepared and cared for if she had not come. Praise the Lord for Grandmothers! Leila also had her first bath yesterday. Having a baby nurse for a wife, the bath went flawlessly. I am hoping to have some video of the sacred event up soon.

Sleepless nights

No surprise to those that have kids, last night was a team effort with not much sleep between us. Baby leila has some gas and does't take to sleeping at night. With alittle anxiousness, my mother leaves today, I am hoping that we are up to the challenge....

Day 4 and 5

Baby Leila is definetly a born eater. As you can see in the first picture, she attempts to eat mommy's face. She is latching well and is starting to recieve some milk which is really good. Mommy is heal well, daddy is loving his little girl and painting the trim on the house. Check out more pictures in the web album.
